Ultraviolette Automotive has introduced a new entry-level version of the Ultraviolette X47 at ₹2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new variant becomes the most affordable model in the X47 lineup and costs ₹15,000 less than the earlier X47 Original variant.
Main Change: No Hypersense Radar
The biggest difference between the new base variant and the X47 Original is the absence of Ultraviolette’s Hypersense radar suite.
The deleted features include:
- Blind-spot detection
- Rear collision warning
- Lane-change assist
- Overtake alerts
Apart from this, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged.
Performance and Range Remain the Same

Ultraviolette claims:
- 211 km IDC range
- 145 km/h top speed
- 0-60 km/h in 2.8 seconds
The motorcycle also retains:
- Dual-channel ABS
- Dynamic stability control
- Hill hold assist

Final Take
The new base Ultraviolette X47 makes the lineup slightly more accessible while retaining most of the performance and core features. Buyers lose the advanced radar-based safety tech, but the motorcycle still offers strong performance figures, premium hardware, and long claimed range for the segment.
