MG Motor India has officially started production of the new MG Majestor at its Halol facility in Gujarat.

The SUV will replace the MG Gloster as MG’s flagship combustion-powered SUV in India.
Pre-bookings for the Majestor are now open for ₹41,000, while prices are expected to range between ₹40 lakh and ₹45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powerful Diesel Engine with 4WD
The Majestor uses the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine from the higher-spec Gloster variants.
The engine produces 215 hp and 478 Nm torque and comes paired with:
- 8-speed automatic gearbox
- Four-wheel-drive system with low range
The SUV also gets:
- Multiple terrain modes
- Three locking differentials
for improved off-road capability.

The Majestor gets a large and aggressive design with:
- LED lighting setup
- 19-inch alloy wheels
- Side steps
- Connected LED tail-lamps
