Norton Motorcycles has reached a major milestone with the first Atlas rolling off the production line at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu.
The rollout marks the start of production for the all-new Norton Atlas, which will officially make its global debut next month, with customer deliveries beginning later in the third quarter of 2026.
The first batch was unveiled during a ceremony attended by senior executives from Norton, TVS Motor Company, and the British High Commission.
A Global Motorcycle Built in India
The Atlas is one of Norton’s most important motorcycles in recent years.
Designed and engineered at Norton’s headquarters in Solihull, UK, the Atlas will now be manufactured in India for global markets at TVS’ Hosur plant.
The move highlights India’s growing role in Norton’s global manufacturing strategy under TVS ownership.
With Norton’s UK facility currently focused on producing the Manx R superbike, Hosur will handle production of both the Atlas and the road-focused Atlas GT.
New 585cc Adventure Platform
The Atlas marks Norton’s return to the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment.
