Lotus Technology has acquired 100 per cent of Lotus Advance Technologies, bringing the British sports car business, engineering operations and future technology programmes under a single corporate structure. In simple terms, the two sides of Lotus are now becoming one business.

The acquisition brings together Lotus Technology, which oversees the brand’s electric vehicle operations, and the UK-based Lotus business responsible for models such as the Emira and its engineering activities.
