Ajith Kumar Finishes P2 at Spa 24H Series

Veteran actor turned race car driver Ajith Kumar secured a second-place finish in the GT3 Pro-am class at the 24H Series race at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, adding another strong result to his growing presence in the international endurance racing.

The result highlights the team’s consistency, especially in the long-format races where strategy, reliability, and pace all need to come together over extended periods.

Another Strong Result at Spa

Spa-Francorchamps has clearly become the circuit where Ajith Kumar Racing performs well. This latest second-place finish builds on the team’s 2025 result at the same venue, where they also secured a podium in the Creventic Endurance Series while competing in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Category.

Delivering similar results across consecutive years at a circuit like Spa shows that the team understands the track well and can maintain performance under demanding conditions.

Building Momentum

The team’s progress has been steady over the past few seasons. It started with a third-place finish at the Dubai Autodrome in 2025, followed by another podium at the Mugello Circuit in Italy. These early results helped establish confidence and set the tone for what followed.

The team is gradually building a reputation as a reliable and competitive team on the international racing stage.

Why Spa Matters

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is widely regarded as one of the most challenging circuits in motorsport. The track features a long lap with a mix of high-speed corners, technical sections, and tricky elevation changes, including the well known Eau Rouge and Raidillon complex.

Whether conditions can also change quickly, often affecting different parts of the track at the same time. Because of these factors, maintaining consistency over a long endurance race at Spa is never easy, which makes a podium finish here particularly significant.

Cinema to Tracks

While Ajith Kumar continues to remain a major figure in Indian cinema, his current focus is clearly on racing. He is actively competing across multiple European circuits with a schedule that includes events in France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Portugal.

Conclusion

Ajith Kumar Racing continues to build momentum with consistent results across endurance events. Another podium finish at Spa reinforces the team’s progress and highlights their ability to compete at a high-level in challenging circuits.
