Montra Electric has introduced a 15-minute rapid-charging option for its SUPER AUTO FX electric passenger three-wheeler, in partnership with Exponent Energy. The technology aims to reduce charging downtime and help drivers spend more time on the road.
The rapid-charging option will initially be available in Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi NCR through Exponent Energy’s network of over 200 compatible chargers.
The SUPER AUTO FX already offers a claimed real-world range of over 150 km on a full charge. The addition of 15-minute rapid charging is aimed at addressing one of the biggest concerns for commercial EV drivers: time lost while charging.
Key highlights include:
The collaboration builds on the existing partnership between Montra Electric and Exponent Energy in the electric cargo three-wheeler segment. Exponent also offers a 2.25 lakh km battery warranty as part of its energy ecosystem.
The SUPER AUTO FX also gets Hill Hold Assist, push-button start, cabin lighting and a 12V mobile charging socket. Earlier this month, the companies introduced ONE Pass, a pay-per-use Energy-as-a-Service solution that aligns charging costs with vehicle usage.
The 15-minute charging option addresses a practical concern for electric three-wheeler drivers, for whom charging downtime can directly affect daily earnings. With a 150+ km claimed on-road range and access to Exponent Energy’s charging network, the SUPER AUTO FX aims to make electric passenger mobility more convenient for commercial operators.
