Aprilia SXR GT Range Launched in India, Prices Start at ₹1.10 Lakh

Aprilia has announced prices for its new SXR GT 125 hp-e and SXR GT 175 hp-e scooters in India. The new range is aimed at urban touring, with a focus on performance, comfort, and stability.

The SXR GT 125 hp-e is priced at ₹1.10 lakh, while the SXR GT 175 hp-e costs ₹1.30 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Maharashtra.

The new SXR GT range is now available at Aprilia dealerships across India.

125cc and 175cc Engines

The scooters use air-cooled, single-cylinder engines with electronic fuel injection.

The 175cc hp-e produces 13hp at 7,200rpm and 14.14Nm at 6,000rpm, while the 125cc hp-e makes 10hp at 7,400rpm and 10.4Nm at 6,200rpm.

Both engines are BSVI OBD II Stage B compliant and compatible with E20 fuel.

14-Inch Wheels

One of the key features of the SXR GT range is its 14-inch wheels, which Aprilia says are a first for the segment.

The larger wheels are designed to provide:

• Sharper handling
• Improved ride quality
• Greater comfort on longer rides

The scooters use telescopic front forks and dual-effect rear hydraulic shock absorbers with five-position adjustment.

Braking and Hardware

The SXR GT 125 gets a 220mm front disc with CBS, while the 175 gets a 220mm front disc with ABS. Both versions use a 140mm rear drum brake.

Both scooters also feature three-valve cylinder heads, electric starters and forced-air cooling.
