Aprilia SXR GT Range Launched with New 175cc Engine

Aprilia India has introduced the new SXR GT 125 and SXR GT 175, updating its premium scooter range with revised engines, fresh styling and new technology. The scooters feature a touring-focused design, larger 14-inch wheels and new colour options.

The SXR GT 175 gets a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, while the SXR GT 125 uses a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster. Bookings are now open at Aprilia dealerships across India. Prices have not been announced in the press release.

Two Engine Options

Both scooters use air-cooled, single-cylinder engines with electronic fuel injection. Aprilia says the updated powertrains offer improved performance and acceleration while retaining everyday usability.

Both engines comply with BSVI OBD II Stage B norms and support E20 fuel.

Updated Styling And Features

The SXR GT range gets Aprilia’s signature tripod LED headlamp, bold graphics and larger 14-inch wheels. The 175 variant also features a new muffler with integrated heat protection.

The SXR GT 175 comes with front-wheel ABS, while the 125 uses a Combined Braking System (CBS).

Other highlights include:

  • SXR GT 175: 5-inch TFT, Bluetooth, music and call management, navigation.
  • SXR GT 125: 5-inch LCD instrument cluster.
  • Both models: telescopic front forks and rear suspension with five-position preload adjustment.

Six New Colour Options

The SXR GT 125 is available in Matte Black, Glossy Azzurro and Glossy White. The SXR GT 175 gets Metallic Blue, Matte Black and Matte Green.

Aprilia will also offer touring accessories, including an adjustable windscreen, crash guard and top box, separately.
