Aston Martin and Brough Superior Reveal AMB 002 Roadster

Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, their first motorcycle designed for public roads. The new model follows the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, expanding the partnership between the two British performance brands.

Limited to just 300 hand-built motorcycles, the AMB 002 combines Aston Martin’s design language with Brough Superior’s lightweight engineering. First deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q3 2027.

Design

The AMB 002 features a compact, forward-biased design with extensive use of sculpted carbon fibre. Its bodywork incorporates several Aston Martin-inspired details, including:

  • Reworked signature side strakes
  • Crescent-shaped cooling gills
  • Twin oval exhausts inspired by Aston Martin’s road cars
  • Rear light blades influenced by the Vulcan, Valkyrie and Valhalla
  • Hand-crafted leather seat pads
  • Keyless function and backlit ignition button

Performance and Engineering

Power comes from an all-new 1,083cc liquid-cooled V-Twin producing 130 hp and 110 Nm. The engine has been developed for strong low- and mid-range torque while retaining a strong top-end.

The motorcycle weighs just 190 kg and uses an aerospace-grade titanium frame machined from a solid billet. The frame weighs only 5 kg and contributes to a claimed 50:50 weight distribution.

Chassis

The AMB 002 uses Brough Superior’s distinctive double-wishbone ‘Fior fork’ front suspension, derived from the system developed for the AMB 001 Pro.

The setup separates steering and braking forces while maintaining front-end geometry, with anti-dive characteristics designed to improve stability during hard braking and cornering.

Production and Availability

Each AMB 002 will be individually built at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, France. Production is strictly limited to 300 units, with initial orders now open.

Deliveries are scheduled to commence in Q3 2027.

Final Take

The AMB 002 Roadster marks a significant step for the Aston Martin-Brough Superior partnership, bringing their highly exclusive motorcycle collaboration to public roads for the first time. With a 130 hp V-Twin, 190 kg kerb weight, titanium frame, and Fior fork suspension, it combines bespoke engineering with Aston Martin-inspired design and limited-production exclusivity.
