Audi has revealed the interior of its upcoming flagship Audi Q9, and the focus is clearly on space, comfort and a lounge-like luxury experience. The car is set to be revealed in summer 2026.
The Q9 will become Audi’s first full-size luxury SUV and is expected to sit above the Q7 and Q8 in the brand’s lineup.
The SUV will be offered with both a six-seat layout and a seven-seat layout.

Meanwhile, the seven-seat version focuses more on family practicality, with support for child seats across the second row.
One of the biggest highlights is the addition of fully automatic doors for the first time in an Audi SUV.

Audi says sensors can also detect nearby obstacles and even approaching cyclists to prevent accidents while opening doors.
The Q9 also gets a huge 1.5-square-metre panoramic sunroof with switchable transparency. Owners can turn sections of the glass opaque at the touch of a button instead of using a traditional sunblind.
Higher variants will also feature 84 LED lights integrated into the roof with 30 ambient lighting colours.

Audi also says it has reduced glossy surfaces inside the cabin to minimise fingerprints and improve the overall premium feel.
Despite all the luxury, Audi says the Q9 remains practical too.
