Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125, marking 25 years of one of India’s most recognisable motorcycle brands.

The Pulsar was first introduced in 2001 and helped bring performance-focused motorcycles to the mainstream Indian market. Over the years, Bajaj has sold more than 20 million Pulsars across 40 countries.
The new models retain the familiar muscular design and character of the original while receiving major updates to their engines, chassis, suspension and technology.
New engine, gearbox and chassis
The Pulsar 150 gets a 149.5cc engine producing 14hp and 13.7 Nm, while the Pulsar 125 uses a 124.58cc engine producing 12hp and 11 Nm.
Both motorcycles receive a new gearbox designed to improve low-speed performance and acceleration.
They also get a new diamond-type frame, with the engine acting as a stiffness member to improve stability and handling. A nitrogen gas-charged monoshock replaces the older suspension setup.
More technology than before
One of the biggest upgrades is the new 5-inch TFT instrument console with:
- Google Maps navigation
- Call and message alerts
- Music controls
- Digital document storage
The motorcycles also get three ride modes, Road, Rain and Sport, along with Crawl Tech, designed to make riding in slow-moving traffic easier.
Top variants receive an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) with automatic start-stop functionality to improve fuel efficiency.
New LED headlamp
Both motorcycles receive a redesigned Wolf-Eye LED headlamp, giving the front end a sharper and more aggressive appearance.
Price
The new Pulsar range starts at:
- Pulsar 150: ₹1,15,233
- Pulsar 125: ₹92,900
Final Take
The new Pulsar 150 and 125 bring some of the biggest changes to these motorcycles in years. With a new frame, monoshock suspension, TFT display, navigation and ride modes, Bajaj is modernising two familiar names while holding on to the muscular personality that made the Pulsar an icon.
