BMW India Opens Pre-Launch Bookings for New X6 M60i xDrive

BMW India has officially opened pre-launch bookings for the new BMW X6 M60i xDrive in India. The performance-focused luxury SUV coupe will arrive in the country as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU).

V8 Power and Strong Performance

The new X6 M60i xDrive is powered by a newly developed V8 petrol engine. BMW claims the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

The company says the V8 engine remains the core highlight of the SUV, delivering both:

  • Strong performance
  • Signature V8 character

Coupe Styling with Luxury Focus

The BMW X6 M60i xDrive combines:

  • Coupe-inspired SUV styling
  • Aggressive road presence
  • Premium interior design
  • Advanced technology features

BMW describes the SUV as a blend of:

  • Performance
  • Luxury
  • Intelligent functionality

designed to deliver a more engaging driving experience while maintaining high comfort levels.

History of the X6 in India

Previous generations of the BMW X6 have already built a strong niche following in India, especially among buyers looking for something sportier and more distinctive than a traditional luxury SUV. BMW first introduced the X6 in India in 2008, making it one of the earliest coupe-SUVs in the market.

Over the years, the X6 gained popularity for its aggressive styling, powerful engines, and road presence, helping BMW establish the premium SUV-coupe segment in the country long before rivals entered the space.
