  • Wireless charger
  • Ambient lighting

Petrol and Hybrid Options Continue

The City continues with the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121 hp and 145 Nm torque

The engine is available with:

  • 6-speed manual gearbox
  • CVT automatic

Honda also continues offering the strong-hybrid e:HEV version, which produces:

  • 126 hp
  • 253 Nm torque

Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 27.26 km/l for the hybrid model.

Safety and ADAS Features

The updated City continues with:

  • Level 2 ADAS
  • Six airbags
  • Lane watch camera
  • Hill start assist
  • Rain-sensing wipers

Pricing

The updated Honda City is available in four variants, SV, V, ZX and ZX+, with both petrol and hybrid powertrain options. Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) are as follows:

  • SV MT – Rs 11,99,900
  • V MT – Rs 13,29,900
  • V CVT – Rs 14,29,900
  • ZX MT – Rs 15,25,900
  • ZX CVT – Rs 16,25,900
  • ZX+ MT – Rs 16,14,900
  • ZX+ CVT – Rs 17,14,900
  • ZX+ e:HEV Hybrid – Rs 20,99,900

The strong-hybrid e:HEV version continues to be offered only in the top-spec ZX+ trim.

Final Take

The updated Honda City may not bring major mechanical changes, but Honda has done enough to keep the sedan feeling fresh in an increasingly SUV-dominated market. The added features, sharper styling and efficient hybrid option should help the City remain one of the most balanced premium sedans currently on sale in India.
