BMW has unveiled the new iX4, an all-electric SUV coupe based on the company’s new Neue Klasse architecture. It will launch with two variants in March 2027, followed shortly by the range-topping iX4 M60 xDrive.

The iX4 uses BMW’s new Gen6 eDrive technology, 800V electrical architecture and cylindrical-cell batteries.

The iX4 50 xDrive uses a 108.7kWh usable battery, while the M60 xDrive has a top speed of 240km/h.
Up to 828km Range
The iX4 50 xDrive gets a claimed range of up to 828km. Its 400kW DC charging capability can add up to 387km of range in 10 minutes, under the specified charging conditions.
Neue Klasse Interior
Inside, the iX4 gets BMW’s new Panoramic iDrive system, combining:

- 3D Head-Up Display
- 17.9-inch central display
- New sports steering wheel
- BMW Operating System X
The cabin also gets a panoramic sunroof and seven interior options.
M60 Gets Extra Hardware
