BMW Motorrad has unveiled the new M 1000 RS, claiming it to be the world’s most powerful hyper naked motorcycle. Powered by the same engine as the M 1000 RR superbike, the new model produces 218hp and weighs just 196kg.

The motorcycle will be limited to 1,000 units worldwide, with deliveries scheduled to begin in March 2027.
Superbike Performance in a Naked Package
The M 1000 RS uses the 218hp superbike engine from the M 1000 RR. It is based on the M 1000 R with the M Competition Package, but gets several upgrades to improve its track-focused character.
Key highlights include:
- 218hp engine from the M 1000 RR
- 196kg kerb weight
- M full titanium exhaust system
- Matt carbon-fibre winglets with RS lettering
- M rider footrest system
- Alcantara-finish M seat with RS embroidery
The motorcycle also gets a revised riding position, with a seat height increased by 20mm and a more forward-focused stance.
Limited to 1,000 Units
BMW has given the M 1000 RS a dark finish with brushed aluminium tank details, carbon-fibre components and exclusive graphics.

The motorcycle will be available through BMW Motorrad dealerships from March 2027. It is priced at €40,000 (₹42,62,400) in Germany.
