BRABUS 900 Rocket Edition Cabrio Debuts with 900hp V8

BRABUS has unveiled the 900 Rocket Edition Cabrio, an open-top supercar based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63. Making its world premiere at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show, the cabriolet combines a bespoke soft-top conversion with a 900 hp V8 and an aggressive widebody design.

Production is limited to 50 units worldwide, with the showcased example priced at €890,740 (₹9,72,64,354), excluding German VAT.

Bespoke Cabriolet Conversion

The G 63’s fixed roof has been replaced by an electrically operated, two-piece soft-top system featuring more than 500 newly developed components. The roof opens or closes in 20 seconds and includes a heated glass rear window.

BRABUS says extensive structural engineering maintains rigidity comparable to the fixed-roof model. Each vehicle also undergoes more than 10 hours of water testing.

900 hp V8 Performance

Power comes from BRABUS’ 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8, enlarged from the standard 3,982cc engine. It produces 900 hp and 1,250 Nm, with torque electronically limited to 1,050 Nm in the vehicle.

The engine is paired with a high-performance exhaust system featuring selectable sound modes. BRABUS RideControl coilover suspension, developed with KW, allows the vehicle to be lowered by up to 45mm.

Bespoke Masterpiece Interior

The cabin features black leather and Alcantara upholstery, red stitching and ROCKET RED detailing. Carbon-fibre trim, illuminated entry panels and BRABUS Easy Entry hinges, which increase rear-door opening angles to 90 degrees, complete the interior.
