Breitling unveils limited-edition Top Time DB5 watch in collaboration with Aston Martin

Breitling and Aston Martin have unveiled the Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Aston Martin DB5, the first product to come from the partnership announced earlier this year. Inspired by the legendary Aston Martin DB5, the limited-edition collection celebrates the shared heritage of the two iconic British brands.

The new collection will be available globally from July 2026.

Inspired by the iconic DB5

The new timepiece draws design inspiration from the Aston Martin DB5, one of the most recognisable cars ever built. It also pays tribute to the original Breitling Top Time chronograph from the 1960s, which famously appeared alongside the DB5 in the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball.

Several design elements reference the classic grand tourer, including:

• Wooden inner ring inspired by the DB5’s steering wheel
• Hand-coloured gradient leather straps
• Dashboard-inspired “squircle” chronograph sub-dials
• Cushion-shaped case with vintage-style pushers

Three limited editions

The Top Time Tribute to Aston Martin DB5 will be offered in three versions:

• Stainless Steel with silver dial – limited to 1,022 units
• Steel and Platinum with black lacquer dial – limited to 315 units
• 18k Red Gold with natural onyx dial – limited to 250 individually numbered units

The red gold version is also the first Breitling watch to feature a dial made from natural onyx.

Powered by Breitling’s in-house movement

All three versions are powered by the Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement.
