Dodge Brings Back the Super Bee with 600hp and Track-Focused Upgrades

Dodge has brought back the Super Bee for 2027, and this time it is the most powerful Charger Sixpack yet.

The new Charger Super Bee packs 600hp and 720Nm from a revised twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six, along with a range of upgrades aimed at making it more capable on the track.

600hp from a twin-turbo six-cylinder

The engine gets larger 56mm Garrett Motion turbochargers, allowing 7.5% more airflow. Peak torque is now available from 3,000rpm to 5,900rpm.

Key figures include:

  • Power: 600hp
  • Torque: 720Nm
  • Engine: 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six
  • Gearbox: 8-speed automatic
  • 0-60mph: 3.6 seconds
  • Quarter-mile: 11.8 seconds
  • Drivetrain: AWD with selectable RWD mode

The new RWD mode can send all available torque to the rear wheels at the push of a button.

Built for the track

Dodge has also upgraded the Charger’s cooling and aerodynamics. High-temperature radiator capacity has increased by more than 50%, while the low-temperature circuit has more than doubled.

A redesigned front fascia increases airflow by 30% and adds more than 100 pounds of downforce at 150mph. The car also gets an extended front splitter and larger rear spoiler.

Bigger brakes and sharper handling

The Super Bee rides on 20-inch forged wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tyres.

It also gets:

  • 16-inch Brembo brakes
  • Six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers
  • Adaptive dampers
  • Stiffer suspension bushings
  • Stiffer front and rear springs
  • Track and Drag drive modes
  • Launch Control with Torque Reserve

The Super Bee is also the first Charger Sixpack to feature Race Prep, which keeps the cooling fan running after the engine is switched off.

Super Bee styling

The Launch Edition gets a new SuckerPunch yellow-green paint, alongside Shady and Diamond Black options.

It also features unique graphics, Super Bee badges, special seats and a performance steering wheel with a dedicated RWD button.

Final Take

The Super Bee gives the Charger Sixpack a serious performance upgrade. More power, better cooling, sharper suspension and selectable rear-wheel drive make it much more than a cosmetic special edition.

Dodge has not announced pricing yet, but the 2027 Charger Super Bee is shaping up to be one of the most aggressive versions of the new-generation muscle car.
