Ducati Panigale V2 Gets New Ducati Yellow Colour Scheme in India

Ducati India has expanded the Panigale V2 S lineup with the introduction of a new Ducati Yellow colour option. Priced at ₹21.86 lakh (ex-showroom), the new paint scheme commands a premium of ₹33,000 over the existing Ducati Red variant.

Apart from the new colour, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged.

New Look for Ducati’s Middleweight Superbike

The Ducati Yellow finish gives the Panigale V2 S a fresh identity while retaining the sharp styling of the latest-generation superbike.

The new shade joins the existing Ducati Red option and offers buyers another factory finish inspired by the brand’s racing heritage.

Same 890cc V-Twin Engine

The Panigale V2 S continues to be powered by Ducati’s new 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine.

Engine specifications:

  • 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin
  • 120bhp at 10,750rpm
  • 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm
  • 6-speed gearbox
  • Bi-directional quickshifter

While the new engine produces less peak power than the previous-generation Panigale V2, Ducati has significantly reduced the bike’s overall weight. The V2 S is 17kg lighter, promising improved agility and sharper handling.

Premium Hardware

The S variant comes equipped with higher-spec suspension components compared to the standard model.

Key highlights include:

  • Ohlins front and rear suspension
  • 17-inch alloy wheels
  • Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres
  • Twin front disc brakes

The lighter chassis and premium cycle parts are designed to deliver better performance both on the road and on the racetrack.

Loaded with Electronics

Like every modern Ducati superbike, the Panigale V2 S comes with an extensive electronics package.

Features include:

  • Multiple riding modes
  • Traction control
  • Wheelie control
  • Engine brake control
  • Bi-directional quickshifter
  • TFT instrument display
  • Three display layouts – Road, Road Pro and Race

These systems allow riders to tailor the bike’s behaviour to different riding conditions and skill levels.

Final Take

The new Ducati Yellow option doesn’t change what makes the Panigale V2 S special, but it does give buyers a striking new way to own Ducati’s middleweight superbike. With its lighter chassis, premium Ohlins suspension and comprehensive electronics package, the Panigale V2 S remains one of the most capable and desirable motorcycles in its segment.
