E3 Electric.Ai has started production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its Hyderabad manufacturing facility. Customer deliveries will begin in batches from October 7, 2026, which also marks the Bengaluru-based startup’s second anniversary.
The E3 TRION will be offered in C1, C1X, and C2 variants, aimed at youngsters, families, and business users, respectively. The scooter will be available in six colours, with the variants being introduced in planned phases.
E3 says the scooter has undergone an extensive development and validation programme focused on reliability, safety and durability for Indian road conditions.
The testing programme included more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, covering:
The TRION was also tested on a 260km mixed-terrain route between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal, covering mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces.
The first 100 customers will form E3’s founding-owner community. They will receive an 8-year/1 lakh km extended warranty for the battery and key components, along with one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance.
The package is valued at ₹6,500 for the 2.3kWh battery-equipped C1 and ₹8,500 for the 3kWh battery-equipped C1X and C2.
