New Skoda Slavia Launched at ₹9.99 Lakh, Gets 8-Speed Automatic

Skoda Auto India has launched the new Slavia at a starting price of ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Customer deliveries are set to begin next week, with the updated sedan receiving revised styling, additional comfort features, and new technology.

The Slavia continues with the 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI petrol engines. The smaller engine is now available with a new segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic, while the 1.5 TSI continues with a seven-speed DSG.

New Design and Features

The updated Slavia gets new LED headlamps and taillamps with sequential turn indicators, a revised grille and front and rear design, along with new alloy wheel designs. The Monte Carlo adds black exterior elements, red detailing, and dedicated badging.

Inside, the sedan gets a new set of interior themes and additional equipment. Higher variants feature a 26.03cm digital cockpit, while a new segment-first rear-seat massage function is available on the Prestige and Monte Carlo variants.

Other additions include a 360-degree Area View camera and Park Pilot with front and rear parking sensors.

New AI-Powered Infotainment

The Slavia gets a 25.6cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The system also features an AI-powered voice assistant using Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent and Gemini.

The system can provide real-time information and operate functions such as music, calls, and climate control through voice commands.

Engine and Gearbox Options

The 1.0 TSI continues to produce the same output as before and is available with a six-speed manual or the new eight-speed torque converter automatic.

The 1.5 TSI is paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic and gets rear disc brakes.

The range is offered in six variants:

  • Classic
  • Classic+
  • Signature
  • Sportline
  • Prestige
  • Monte Carlo

All variants get six airbags and more than 25 active and passive safety features as standard, while higher variants offer over 40 features. The Slavia also retains its 5-star Global NCAP safety rating.
