Hero MotoCorp has launched the flex-fuel versions of its bestselling commuter motorcycles, the Hero Splendor + Flex Fuel and Hero HF Deluxe Flex Fuel.
Priced at Rs 82,710 and Rs 72,792 respectively (both ex-showroom, Delhi), the new models can run on ethanol blends ranging from E20 to E85, supporting the government’s push towards cleaner and more sustainable fuels.
Bringing Flex-Fuel Technology to the Mass Market
Hero will initially sell the motorcycles in Delhi and select regions of Maharashtra from July 2026, before expanding availability to other parts of the country.
The launch is significant because the Splendor and HF series amount to a huge share of India’s commuter motorcycle market. The company says roughly one in every three motorcycles on Indian roads belongs to either the Splendor or HF lineup, making this one of the largest introductions of flex-fuel technology in the two-wheeler segment.

Both motorcycles use Hero’s familiar 97.2cc single-cylinder engine, which Hero has modified to run on higher ethanol blends.

The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel costs just Rs 172 more than the standard model, while the Splendor + Flex Fuel commands a premium of Rs 5,153, making the technology more accessible for commuter motorcycle buyers.
