Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded total sales of 5.79 lakh units in August 2026, registering an 8% year-on-year growth compared to the same month last year.

The growth was driven by steady performance in both the domestic and export markets.
Domestic sales cross 5 lakh units
HMSI sold 5.17 lakh units in India during August 2026, up 8% from 4.81 lakh units in August 2025.
Exports grew at a faster pace, rising 15% year-on-year to 61,833 units, compared to 53,840 units in the same period last year.

Strong growth in FY27 so far
For the April-August period of FY27, HMSI recorded total sales of 27.33 lakh units, up 13% from 24.25 lakh units during the same period last year.
Domestic sales grew 11% to 24.07 lakh units, while exports recorded a strong 31% growth, reaching 3.26 lakh units.
The export performance has been particularly notable, making it one of the strongest growth areas for Honda so far this financial year.
