2025 Hyundai Venue Unveiled: Focus on Size, Tech, and Premium Interiors

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has officially announced that bookings are now open for its much-anticipated compact SUV, the all-new Hyundai Venue. Set to launch on November 4, 2025, the new model emphasizes increased dimensions and significant technological upgrades. Customers can secure a booking for the vehicle with an initial amount of Rs 25,000.

Key Changes: Larger Dimensions and Exterior

The all-new Venue presents a noticeably larger presence, with HMIL stating the SUV features taller, wider dimensions, and a longer wheelbase compared to the outgoing model.

The specific dimensions are:

  • Length: 3,995 mm
  • Width: 1,800 mm (30 mm wider than the existing model)
  • Height: 1,665 mm (48 mm taller than the existing model)
  • Wheelbase: 2,520 mm (20 mm longer than the existing model)

Exterior design highlights include a dark chrome radiator grille, Twin Horn LED DRLs, Quad Beam LED headlamps, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Sub 4-metre SUV’s character is further defined by muscular wheel arches, bridge-type roof rails, and a signature C-pillar garnish.

Interior and Technology Upgrades

The cabin receives a substantial premium update, centred around a new Dual 62.5 cm (12.3-inch + 12.3-inch) curved panoramic display for the infotainment and instrument cluster.

  • Coffee-table center console with Moon White ambient lighting.
  • Comfort features such as 2-step reclining rear seats, rear window sunshades, and rear AC vents.
  • Enhanced space courtesy of the extended 2,520 mm wheelbase, providing increased headroom, shoulder room, and legroom for passengers.
  • The driver also benefits from an Electric 4-way seat adjustment.

Engine and Variant Structure

The all-new Hyundai Venue will be offered with a choice of three distinct engine options:

  1. Kappa 1.2 l MPi petrol
  2. Kappa 1.0 l Turbo GDi petrol
  3. U2 1.5 l CRDi Diesel

These engines can be paired with one of three transmission choices: Manual, Automatic, or Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT).

In a structural change, HMIL is introducing a new variant nomenclature, “HX,” which is stated to be inspired by “Hyundai Experience.”

The compact SUV will be offered in six monotone colors (including the new Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire) and two dual-tone combinations (Hazel Blue with Abyss Black roof, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof).

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, noted the existing Venue’s success with over 7 lakh customers, stating the new model aims to redefine design and premium technology for new-age customers.

The launch is scheduled for November 4, 2025.
