Jeep India Launched Wrangler with Willy’s Skin: A Tribute to the Legend

Jeep pays tribute to the OG off-roader by launching the Wrangler Willys 41. The limited-edition model sold out nationwide in just 7 days.

Exterior & Limited Color Theme

The Wrangler Willys41 gets a camo-based colour theme, as the MB Willys was a major machine used by soldiers to scale the unscalable. To signify the limited run in the country, the car gets a “one of 41” badge.

Premium Features

The car also gets motorized sidesteps and an optional kit that includes a roof carrier with an integrated ladder and a sun-rider rooftop.

Interior & Tech

The interior of the limited model doesn’t stand out much from the current Wrangler in the market, the limited edition gets a dash cam as a premium fitting.

Limited Production

The car is limited to 41 units in India, and the first batch is already sold out. However, Jeep is offering “Wrangler Willys 41 2.0” for a limited time period for the “Rubicon” variant for a premium of ₹2,00,000. Other premium options can cost an additional ₹3,60,000.

Current Wrangler Rubicon is available for ₹68,31,000 (ex-showroom).

Overview

The Wrangler dominates the off-road world with unmatched capability. It delivers a more utilitarian design than any other SUV in its price range. Jeep launched the limited edition to Honor its DNA, keeping it closely aligned with the current Wrangler lineup. However, this special edition boldly celebrates its origins, capturing exactly what it was and how it stood at the time of its inception.
