Kia Seltos 2026 Review: Same Formula, Better Feel

We drove the new Seltos, and here’s the simple truth: nothing dramatic has changed. But everything feels better. And that’s exactly why it works.

Looks Sharper, Feels Bigger

The car appears similar to the brand’s flagship SUV, “Kia Telluride”. Other major changes include:

  • New LED lights in front and rear
  • Cleaner, more premium design
  • Strong road presence

The updated design can attract more customers.

Big Upgrades Inside

Completely revamped interior with added space. Other changes include:

  • Dual screens look modern and clean
  • Better materials all around
  • Ambient lighting adds a nice vibe
  • New flat-bottom steering wheel

It finally feels worth the money you’re paying

Still Loaded with Features

The brand continues to overdeliver here.

  • ADAS safety tech
  • 360-degree camera
  • Ventilated seats
  • Bose sound system

This is still one of the most feature-packed SUVs you can buy in this price point.

Backseat Comfort

The back seat is a comfortable place, with ample space, cushioned seats, sun blinds, cup holders, etc. Making the car an attractive family car.

Same Engines, No Drama

Nothing new in this department, and that’s okay. The brand offers 3 engines and 4 different transmission options. The car gets,

  • Smooth petrol and diesel options
  • Easy to drive in the city
  • Better comfort

Driving: Easy, not exciting

Behind the wheel, it’s all about comfort.

  • Light steering
  • Soft suspension
  • Relaxed driving feel

The Only Catch, Price!

It’s getting expensive now.₹10.99 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) may seem a deal breaker.

Compared to the Hyundai Creta, it’s not the obvious value pick anymore. But overall, it still feels like the more complete car.

Verdict

The 2026 Seltos builds on a strong foundation rather than chasing change for the sake of it. It feels more premium, better put together, and remains one of the most well-rounded options in its segment.

While it still doesn’t appeal to diving enthusiasts and the pricing has gone north, it continues to make a strong case for buyers looking for a comfortable, feature-rich, and easy-to-live-with SUV.
