VIDA, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, has officially launched the VIDA VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition. It is unveiled during the Knights Unplugged 3.0 event in the presence of the full Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad. The special edition “Evooter” celebrates the franchise’s three championship titles through bespoke design and performance-led electric mobility.
The limited-edition scooter will be available at select VIDA outlets across India.
The VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition integrates the team’s iconic color palette into VIDA’s contemporary silhouette. The aesthetic is defined by a Pearl Black body featuring a golden halftone gradient with micro-dotted patterns.
Key Design Highlights:
The VX2 Plus continues to serve as the performance-oriented variant in VIDA’s lineup, focusing on youthful styling and urban agility.
Beyond retail, VIDA has introduced a unique incentive for the KKR squad. For every victory secured by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the current season, a standout player, selected by team management, will be awarded a customised VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition.
Each award vehicle will be personalized with the winning player’s name and jersey number, presented during a post-match handover ceremony.
Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer: VIDA, noted that the initiative blends distinctive design with culturally relevant sporting associations. This also strengthens the brand’s engagement during the T20 season.
Venky Mysore, CEO of Kolkata Knight Riders, added: “The VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition is a unique way to extend the Knight Riders experience beyond the field. It offers fans a product that embodies performance, sustainability, and the distinctive ethos of our franchise.”
