Kinetic has upgraded its iconic DX electric scooter with a new 3.1 kWh LFP battery, giving the DX+ a claimed IDC range of up to 132 km. The updated model also gets a 5hp peak-power hub BLDC motor and a range of features aimed at everyday urban commuting.
The upgraded DX range continues with the familiar all-metal body while adding modern electric technology, including regenerative braking, reverse assist, and connected features.
The biggest change is the larger LFP battery, which Kinetic says offers a real-world range of 105–110 km. The battery supports quick charging from 0–80 per cent in approximately three hours.
Key features include:
The DX+ retains its metal-bodied design while offering 37-litre under-seat storage, telematics and a retractable charging cable.
It rides on 12-inch tubeless tyres and gets 165 mm ground clearance. Braking is handled by a 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum, while the scooter has a 1,315 mm wheelbase and 714 mm seat length.
The updated DX range is available in two variants:
The prices are ex-showroom. The DX+ gets Black, Silver, Blue, White and Red colour options, while the DX is available in Black and Silver.
Kinetic is also offering festive benefits, including ₹2,000 on the DX, ₹3,000 on the DX+, an extended warranty offer, Amazon cashback and a PME drive benefit.
The updated Kinetic DX range combines the scooter’s familiar metal-bodied design with a larger battery and more modern features. With its 132 km IDC range, 3.8 kW motor and practical equipment, the DX+ is positioned as a more capable option for everyday urban commuting.
