Mahindra Expands Veero Range With New CNG and Diesel Variants

Mahindra has expanded its Veero light commercial vehicle range with the launch of the Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and an upgraded Veero Diesel. The new CNG variant is aimed at intra-city logistics, while the diesel gets additional technology and convenience features.

First introduced in 2024, the Veero is based on Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), a multi-energy modular platform developed for commercial vehicles.

Veero 1.1 XXL CNG

Designed for urban applications, the new CNG variant combines a 1.1-tonne payload with a 2,900 mm cargo deck and a 5.1 m turning radius.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 66 hp and 98 Nm. The CNG version claims an ARAI-certified efficiency of 21.4 km/kg and a combined petrol+CNG range of over 450 km.

It is targeted at:

  • FMCG distribution
  • E-commerce and courier deliveries
  • Fruit and vegetable transportation
  • Market loads and other intra-city logistics

Upgraded Veero Diesel

The Veero Diesel gains several new features, including a 26.03 cm touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and multilingual voice commands. Cruise control has also been added for improved long-distance usability.

Other features include:

  • Heater with AC
  • Reclining driver’s seat with adjustable headrest
  • Flat-fold seats
  • Door armrest and D+2 seating
  • Reverse parking camera
  • Driver airbag
  • Power windows and fast-charging ports as standard

Mahindra’s iMAXX connected technology now adds remote AC control alongside features such as vehicle tracking, geofencing, route planning, vehicle health monitoring and fuel tracking.

Pricing and Availability

The Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is priced from ₹8.25 lakh, while the upgraded diesel range starts at ₹8.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
