Lamborghini Reveals 1,065 HP Fenomeno Roadster, Its Most Powerful Open-Top Car Ever

Lamborghini has unveiled the stunning new Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster, and it is officially the most powerful open-top Lamborghini ever made.

Only 15 units will be built worldwide, making it one of Lamborghini’s rarest modern cars.

A V12 Hybrid Monster

At the heart of the Fenomeno Roadster is Lamborghini’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 hybrid setup combined with three electric motors. Together, the system produces a massive 1,065 hp

Performance figures are completely insane:

  • 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds
  • 0-200 km/h in 6.8 seconds
  • Top speed above 340 km/h

Despite the hybrid system, Lamborghini says the focus is still very much on emotion and raw driving experience.

Inspired by Racing and Aerospace Design

The Fenomeno Roadster gets an entirely new aerodynamic setup compared to the coupe version.

Key highlights include:

  • Large rear diffuser
  • Active rear wing
  • Flat windshield with carbon spoiler
  • Aggressive cooling ducts
  • Carbon-fibre rollover protection bars

Lamborghini says the car delivers the same aerodynamic performance as the coupe, even without a roof.

Classic Lamborghini Drama

Visually, the Fenomeno Roadster looks absolutely dramatic.

The design takes inspiration from:

  • The Essenza SCV12
  • 1970s Lamborghini race cars
  • Earlier Few-Off models like the Reventón and Veneno

The car also features Lamborghini’s signature hexagonal styling across lights, air intakes, exhaust area and interior elements.

A Driver-Focused Cabin

Inside, Lamborghini has kept the cockpit very race-inspired.

The interior gets:

  • Carbon-fibre heavy design
  • Digital driver displays
  • Aviation-style switches
  • Racing seats with red stitching

The cabin is designed to keep the driver fully focused while still feeling luxurious and special.

Built Almost Entirely from Carbon Fibre

The Fenomeno Roadster uses a lightweight multi-technology carbon-fibre chassis inspired by aerospace engineering. Lamborghini says this helps maintain stiffness and performance despite removing the roof.

The car also uses:

  • Carbon-ceramic brakes
  • Manually adjustable racing suspension
  • Bespoke Bridgestone Potenza tyres developed specifically for this model

A Very Special Colour Scheme

The launch car wears:

  • Blu Cepheus blue paint
  • With Rosso Mars red accents

Lamborghini says the colours pay tribute to the city of Bologna.

Why This Car Matters

The Fenomeno Roadster is more than just another limited-edition Lamborghini. It also represents Lamborghini’s push into the hybrid era while still keeping its signature V12 drama alive.

And because only 15 units are being made, this will likely become an instant collector’s car.
