Mahindra has introduced the BE 6 SPORTEQ series along with the sportier Formula E Freedom Edition in India. The new range brings updated technology, AI-powered features and new styling options, while the BaaS version starts at ₹11.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The Freedom Edition is priced from ₹24.45 lakh.
The SPORTEQ series is available in eight variants and 12 colour options, including four new shades:
The range includes ONE, TWO, THREE, THREE+, FOUR, FE, FE FOUR and Launch Edition variants.
From the TWO variant onwards, the BE 6 gets a three-screen coast-to-coast cockpit, while the Formula E Freedom Edition retains the original two-screen layout with the signature halo-style dashboard.
The Formula E Freedom Edition is the performance-focused version of the range and draws inspiration from Mahindra Racing’s Formula E programme.

The 59kWh battery version is available with Mahindra’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option.
Mahindra will roll out the new software and technology features to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S owners through OTA updates.
The rollout will begin in phases from January 2027, although the available features will vary depending on the model and variant.
