Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO ZNG, its first mainstream CNG passenger vehicle, with prices starting at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV combines a turbocharged engine with CNG technology, aiming to offer lower running costs without compromising on performance.
Bookings open on October 20, 2026, while test drives begin on October 15. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from October 20.

Key performance figures include:
The system automatically switches to petrol when CNG runs low. A gas-leak detection system also switches the vehicle to petrol if a leak is detected.
Twin CNG cylinders are positioned beneath the luggage area, preserving a flat loading floor and 270 litres of boot space.
Depending on the variant, features include:
All variants get six airbags, Electronic Stability Control and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. The XUV 3XO ZNG is based on the XUV 3XO, which has received a five-star Bharat NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection.
