Maruti Suzuki has launched the Victoris Aurum Edition to celebrate the SUV’s first anniversary and its record-breaking sales performance. Based on the Strong Hybrid variant, the special edition gets cosmetic upgrades and additional accessories, with the kit priced at ₹22,990.
The Victoris set a record for the highest number of cars sold by a new model during its first year in India’s passenger vehicle segment. It has also become the fastest-selling passenger vehicle to cross the one-lakh and 1.5-lakh sales milestones since launch, according to Maruti Suzuki.
Named after the Latin word for gold, the Aurum Edition celebrates the SUV’s first-year success with a distinctive copper-and-chrome design theme.
Key additions include:
The edition retains the Strong Hybrid powertrain, which also offers an EV mode. The release does not mention any mechanical changes.
The standard Victoris has also enjoyed a successful debut year, winning the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2026 award, alongside Car of the Year honours from BBC Top Gear India, Car India Magazine, ABP Live Auto and Hindustan Times Auto.

The Victoris Aurum Edition adds a fresh visual identity to Maruti Suzuki’s already successful SUV without introducing major mechanical changes. The copper inserts, chrome detailing and additional accessories give the Strong Hybrid variant a more distinctive look for the festive season. At ₹22,990 for the accessory kit, the special edition is primarily about celebrating the Victoris’s first-year achievement rather than changing what the SUV offers underneath.
