Merc’s ‘private suit on wheels’ gets AIRMATIC suspension, AMG line exterior and Ventilated seats as standard for India customers.
The new V-Class features a 3430mm long wheelbase with a 6-seat layout. Third row to feature ventilated seats as standard for the Indian market.
The 2nd row gets individual seats with 3-stage ventilation, massage, calf support and wireless charging.
Additional features include, MBUX with touch display for the front row, 64-color ambient lighting and a 15-spekaer Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos with a combined 640 W output.
The V-Class comes with a petrol engine for the first time in the country, the power train also features a mild hybrid system. The petrol variant puts out 1999 cc with 228 hp + 15 kW (20hp). The diesel variant outputs 1951 cc with 233 hp.
The design department gets a major update from the previous generation V-Class with a rather basic design. The new gen features AMG line exterior and interior, a star-pattern grille, LED light strip and logo projector.
The car features 7 standard airbags including window airbags from A to D pillar. The car also gets driver camera with attention assist, active lane keeping assist, blind spot monitor and more.
For parking, the car gets 360-degree camera, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 3D surround view.
The V-Class can be booked for ₹5 lakh which will ensure customers are eligible for the ₹1.4 crore introductory price. Existing Mercedes-Benz customers get priority delivery, strengthening its premium approach.
