JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the new MG Majestor in India. Positioned as the brand’s flagship combustion-powered SUV, the Majestor arrives with prices starting at:
- ₹40.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 4×2 Automatic
- ₹44.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 4×4 Automatic

The SUV will be available in 6-seat and 7-seat layouts. While the 4WD version will be offered only as a 7-seater.
Powerful Diesel Engine and Off-Road Hardware
The Majestor uses a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 212 hp and 478 Nm torque.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
MG claims the SUV offers Best-in-segment power figures.
The 4WD variant also gets:
- Triple differential locks
- Crawl control mode
- 10 off-road modes
- 219 mm ground clearance
- 810 mm water-wading capability
Making it one of the most off-road-focused SUVs in its segment.

MG says the Majestor is the longest, widest and tallest SUV in its segment with dimensions of:
