JSW MG Motors India launches the new ADAPT platform that can operate four different powertrains. Instead of building different platforms for EV’s, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids, the carmaker can build all of them using one flexible base.

MG also unveiled India’s first 10-in-1 intelligent electric drive unit that combines multiple components into one compact unit. Moreover, they also showcased the world’s first Electromagnetic Dedicated Hybrid Transmission intended to provide smoother power delivery.

JSW MG Motos India plans to introduce one EV and one PHEV based on this platform by FY 2026-27. The company’s visible incline towards sustainable commuting looks promising, and if done right, MG can turn into a chest of solutions to various concerns.
