MG Motor India has officially started production of the new MG Majestor at its Halol facility in Gujarat.
The SUV will replace the MG Gloster as MG’s flagship combustion-powered SUV in India.
Pre-bookings for the Majestor are now open for ₹41,000, while prices are expected to range between ₹40 lakh and ₹45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Majestor uses the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine from the higher-spec Gloster variants.

The MG Majestor looks like a significant upgrade over the Gloster, especially in terms of design, features and cabin technology. With strong diesel performance, proper 4WD hardware and a feature-loaded interior, MG seems to be targeting buyers who want a more premium alternative to the Fortuner while still retaining serious road presence and off-road capability.
