MINI Cooper Oxford Edition Launched in India at ₹55.50 Lakh

MINI has launched the Cooper Oxford Edition in India at ₹55.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited-edition model celebrates 25 years of modern MINI production at Plant Oxford in the UK. Available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), the car is open for bookings across MINI dealerships, with deliveries starting immediately.

British Design with Exclusive Details

The Oxford Edition gets unique styling elements inspired by MINI’s British heritage, including a white contrast roof featuring the Union Jack. It is available in two exterior colours: Indigo Sunset Blue and Chilli Red.

Key highlights include:

• Union Jack graphics on the roof, steering wheel and door sills.
• White mirror caps and an exclusive crossed-flags boot sticker.
• 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels.
• LED headlights and redesigned matrix rear lights with three selectable lighting signatures.

Features and Technology

Inside, the special edition gets JCW sport seats in Vescin Black upholstery, a panoramic glass roof and a circular 240 mm OLED touchscreen. The cabin also features MINI Operating System 9, voice control and a head-up display.

Other highlights include a Harman Kardon surround sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and MINI Digital Key Plus, which allows a compatible smartphone to function as the car key.

Engine and Performance

The MINI Cooper Oxford Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

• Transmission: Seven-speed Steptronic Sport dual-clutch automatic

The car also gets adaptive suspension, JCW sport brakes, and driving modes such as Go-Kart and Green.
