MINI Makes Its Debut in Lucknow as BMW Group Opens New Retail.NEXT Facility

BMW Group India has introduced MINI in Lucknow, expanding the brand’s presence in Uttar Pradesh. The new Speed Motorwagen Retail.NEXT facility brings BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad together under one roof, offering customers access to the group’s complete premium mobility portfolio.

MINI’s entry into Lucknow comes as the city’s luxury car market grows, bringing the brand’s distinctive styling and go-kart-like driving experience closer to local buyers.

Three Brands, One Roof

The new facility on Faizabad Road combines vehicle sales, pre-owned cars, accessories and aftersales services in one location.

The BMW and MINI showroom spans 12,142 sq. ft., with space for eight BMW cars and two MINI models. A separate 2,088 sq. ft. BMW Premium Selection area displays three pre-owned vehicles.

BMW Motorrad occupies 2,100 sq. ft. and can display 11 motorcycles. Its dedicated 2,700 sq. ft. workshop has four service bays, alongside an area for riding gear and accessories.

The facility also features a 17,035 sq. ft. service workshop for BMW and MINI, with dedicated bays for vehicle reception, mechanical and electrical work, and programming.

MINI’s Growing Indian Presence

MINI’s range in India includes the Cooper S, Convertible, Countryman C, all-electric Countryman E, MINI SE ALL4 and performance-focused JCW Countryman ALL4.

With the Lucknow launch, MINI now has 18 sales touchpoints across 17 cities. Its aftersales network is integrated with BMW Group India’s wider service network, covering 51 touchpoints across 36 cities.

What Is Retail.NEXT?

BMW Group’s Retail.NEXT concept combines digital tools with a more open showroom layout. A central customer walkway connects the different business areas, bringing new cars, pre-owned vehicles, motorcycles and service facilities into one integrated environment.

The idea is to make exploring vehicles, personalising specifications and accessing aftersales support more straightforward.

Final Take

MINI’s arrival gives Lucknow’s luxury car buyers another distinctive option, while Speed Motorwagen’s new facility brings three BMW Group brands together in one place. More than just a new showroom, the Retail.NEXT setup aims to make buying, servicing and exploring different products a connected experience.

For BMW Group India, the move also strengthens its presence in Uttar Pradesh, with MINI adding a more individual and lifestyle-focused dimension to its existing luxury portfolio.
