Modball has flagged off the fourth edition of its annual automotive expedition, with 43 high-performance cars beginning a road trip from Delhi to Leh via the scenic Srinagar-Leh highway. The drive was flagged off by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi.

The event aims to showcase India’s growing road tourism infrastructure while bringing together automotive enthusiasts from across the country.

43 cars, seven cities

This year’s convoy features participants from Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.

The line-up includes:

  • 20 BMW M cars
  • Lamborghini Urus
  • Land Rover Defender Octa
  • Mercedes-Benz G63
  • Three Porsche 911s
  • Audi performance models
  • Jeep Wrangler
  • Ford Mustang
  • Other performance and luxury cars

The convoy will travel through Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, covering iconic roads including Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes.

Promoting road tourism

According to the organisers, the expedition is designed to promote responsible road travel while highlighting India’s improving highway infrastructure and scenic driving routes.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said the initiative showcases some of India’s best driving roads and supports the country’s growing adventure tourism sector.

Modball founder Vidit Jain said the event is about encouraging enthusiasts to explore India’s landscapes through driving experiences, while co-founder Sean Rogers added that the Srinagar-Leh route remains one of the country’s most memorable automotive journeys.

Journey to be documented

The entire expedition will be documented across Modball’s social media channels, with content covering the drive, landscapes, and participating cars throughout the journey.
