Range Rover Sport SV Launched in India at ₹2.05 Crore

Land Rover has launched the new Range Rover Sport SV in India at a starting price of ₹2.05 crore (ex-showroom). The new variant sits below the more expensive SV Edition Two and is around ₹30 lakh cheaper.

Bookings are now open, while deliveries are expected to begin from August 2026.

Massive V8 Power

Under the hood sits a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine producing 635 hp and 750 Nm torque.

Power goes to all four wheels through an automatic gearbox. Land Rover claims 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, which is seriously quick for a luxury SUV this size.

Luxury-Focused Cabin

Inside, the SUV gets a premium light Cloud and Ebony interior theme, along with:

  • Perforated Windsor leather seats
  • Sliding panoramic sunroof
  • Meridian sound system
  • Illuminated SV door sills
  • Extended leather package

Land Rover says many of these features were chosen specifically, keeping Indian customer preferences in mind.

Looks Aggressive

The Range Rover Sport SV comes with several sporty touches, including:

  • Quad exhaust setup
  • Large rear spoiler
  • Blacked-out grille and trim
  • Black ORVMs
  • SV badging

Compared to the Edition Two model, this version skips some expensive lightweight carbon-fibre parts and carbon ceramic brakes.

Special Colours Just for India

Land Rover says the India-spec Range Rover Sport SV gets exclusive paint options curated specially for Indian buyers.

These include:

  • Green Satin
  • Orange Matte
  • Blue Gloss
  • Violet Matte
  • Teal Gloss

The SUV also gets:

  • Contrasting black roof
  • 22-inch forged alloy wheels
  • SV-specific styling elements

Advanced Suspension Setup

The SUV also gets Land Rover’s 6D Dynamics suspension system, which uses a hydraulically linked setup to reduce body roll and improve stability during aggressive driving.

India Context

The launch comes shortly after JLR announced revised pricing for several high-end Range Rover models ahead of the India-UK FTA rollout. The new Sport SV now gives buyers a slightly more accessible entry into the ultra-performance Range Rover lineup while still offering the same powerful V8 experience.
