Renault Triber Turbo Launched at ₹7.84 Lakh with New RGEP Platform

Renault India has launched the Triber Turbo, introducing its new Renault Group Entry Platform (RGEP) in India. Priced from ₹7.84 lakh, the new version combines a turbocharged petrol engine with the Triber’s compact dimensions and flexible seven-seat layout.

While the exterior remains familiar, Renault says the Triber Turbo has been comprehensively re-engineered, with changes to the engine management, thermal systems, structure, suspension and vehicle dynamics.

New Turbo Engine and RGEP Platform

The Triber Turbo gets a 1.0-litre TCe turbo-petrol engine producing 99hp and 180 Nm. Renault claims a certified fuel efficiency of 21 kmpl.

Engineering updates include:

• New Renault Engine Management System
• Revised suspension geometry
• Front and rear anti-roll bars
• MTV damper technology
• Optimised braking calibration
• Dedicated vehicle-dynamics tuning
• New thermal management with a BLDC cooling fan

The Triber Turbo retains its five-, six- and seven-seat configurations, with more than 100 seating combinations. The second row gets slide, recline and one-touch tumble functionality, while the third row uses Easy-Fix seats.

Depending on the variant, the Triber Turbo gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control and wireless charging.
