Rolls-Royce Ghost Savile Row Unveiled as a One-Off Tribute to British Tailoring

Rolls-Royce has revealed the Ghost Savile Row, a one-off Bespoke commission inspired by London’s famous tailoring district. The exclusive model celebrates British craftsmanship by blending the elegance of bespoke suits with the luxury and attention to detail expected from the Goodwood-based marque.

Inspired by Savile Row

The Ghost Savile Row draws inspiration from the timeless combination of a navy suit and white dress shirt.

Its exterior is finished in:

  • Midnight Sapphire over English White dual-tone paint
  • Hand-painted Silver Feature line
  • 22-inch part-polished alloy wheels

The subtle silver accent is designed to resemble premium accessories like cufflinks or a luxury dress watch.

A Tailor-Made Cabin

The bespoke theme continues inside with a cabin inspired by handcrafted British suits.

Highlights include:

  • Navy Blue and Arctic White leather upholstery
  • Pinstripe-inspired Selby Grey stitching
  • Open Pore White Wood trim
  • Navy Blue carpets and lambswool floor mats
  • Bespoke umbrellas matching the cabin theme

Most Complex Embroidery Yet

The centrepiece of the cabin is a hidden embroidery beneath the rear armrest.

It features:

  • 250,000 stitches
  • 1,830 metres of thread
  • Seven different colours
  • Nine hours of craftsmanship

The artwork is inspired by the tree-lined courtyard at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood headquarters and is said to be the most intricate single-frame embroidery ever created by the brand.

Every Detail Counts

Even the smallest elements have been customised, including:

  • Leather-wrapped indicator stalk
  • Leather-wrapped volume control
  • Tailor-inspired illuminated treadplates
  • Pinstripe-style seat embroidery

The result is a cabin that mirrors the precision and craftsmanship of a bespoke Savile Row suit.

Final Take

The Ghost Savile Row is another reminder that Rolls-Royce isn’t simply building luxury cars, it is creating rolling works of art. While its inspiration comes from the world of bespoke tailoring, the execution once again showcases why Rolls-Royce remains the benchmark for automotive craftsmanship.
