Honda has launched two new electric scooters in India, the Activa e: and the QC1. Both these models are creating a lot of buzz in the market and there have been a bit confusion amoungst customers regarding which one to buy, so here’s a simple breakdown of how they compare.
Design & Price: In terms of Looks and Aesthetics, both scooters look similar, but the Activa e: has a more stylish and premium feel. On the other hand the QC1 is the more affordable option. QC1’s price starts at ₹90,000 (ex-showroom), where as Activa e: Price: Starts at ₹1.17 lakh leading up to ₹1.52 lakh for the Top-End Variant.

Battery & Range: Activa e: Comes with two removable 1.5 kWh batteries, these are easy to charge at home and offers a range up to 102 km on a full charge. Along with that Honda is working on a battery swapping system too. One the other hand QC1 has one fixed 1.5 kWh battery (can’t be removed) and offers a range up to 80 km. It takes about 6 hours 50 minutes to get fully charged.
Features: Both scooters have Telescopic front suspension, Rear monoshock, Alloy wheels. And the Activa e: adds more features like Front disc brake, Keyless start, Color TFT display with connectivity, 3 ride modes + reverse mode. The QC1 offers Drum brakes, Simple LCD screen, 2 ride modes, 26 L under-seat storage etc.

Who Should Buy Which?
Out of Both these models the QC1 is Smaller, cheaper, and ideal for college students, elderly riders or anyone needing a scooter for short city trips. On the other hand Activa e: is more powerful and feature-rich. It is better for daily office commutes or longer rides.
