We recently got behind the wheel of the updated Skoda Kushaq, and while this isn’t a full-blown redesign, the changes are noticeable where they matter.
Subtle Design, Stronger Presence
At first glance, the Kushaq looks familiar, and that’s not a bad thing. Skoda has chosen to refine rather than reinvent. We noticed small tweaks to the front-end detailing and lighting, which give the SUV a slightly sharper and more premium look on the road.
Cabin Feels More Sorted
Inside, the updates are more about improving the overall experience than changing the layout.
During our drive, we found:
- Better fit and finish in certain areas
- Minor feature additions
- A more user-friendly feel overall
It still feels like the same Kushaq, but one that’s been redone based on feedback.
Same Driving Strengths Remain
Out on the road, the Kushaq continues to play to its strengths. The engines remain unchanged, but that’s perfectly fine; they’re still among the more engaging options in the segment.

- The stereo system could’ve been made better
- Volume controls are tucked away on the screen while Apple CarPlay is in use
Verdict
After testing the updated Kushaq, it’s clear Skoda hasn’t tried to fix what isn’t broken. Instead, the brand has focused on improvements that make the SUV feel more complete.
