Tata Harrier and Safari Ultra Red #DARK Diesel Variants Launched in India

Tata Motors has introduced the new Ultra Red #DARK editions of the diesel-powered Tata Harrier and Tata Safari in India.

The new versions bring a mix of cosmetic updates, premium features and added tech, while continuing with the same diesel engine setup.

What Makes the Ultra Red #DARK Different

The new editions focus heavily on style and cabin experience.

On the outside, buyers get:

  • Dark-themed styling
  • Blacked-out alloy wheels
  • Red brake callipers
  • Exclusive Nitro Crimson paint option on the Harrier

Inside, the cabin gets a sportier look with:

  • Red leatherette upholstery
  • Dark interior theme
  • Premium finish throughout the cabin

Big Focus on Infotainment and Cabin Tech

One of the highlights is the large new infotainment setup.

Key features include:

  • 36.9 cm Harman infotainment system
  • Samsung Neo QLED display
  • Dolby Atmos audio system
  • Built-in navigation powered by Mappls Auto

Tata is clearly pushing a more high-end in-cabin experience with these variants.

New Convenience Features

The Ultra Red #DARK editions also add several practical features:

  • VisioneX electronic IRVM with built-in dashcam and DVR
  • Memory ORVMs with auto reverse dip
  • Dual camera washer system for clearer parking camera visibility

These features are aimed at improving both convenience and everyday usability.

Both SUVs continue with the familiar:

  • 2.0-litre diesel engine
  • 170 hp and 350 Nm torque

  • 6-speed manual
  • 6-speed automatic
