Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has announced a price hike of up to ₹25,000 across its range of cars and SUVs, effective September 1, 2026.
The increase will apply to both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles, although the exact hike will vary depending on the model and variant.
According to Tata Motors, the revision is aimed at partially offsetting the impact of rising input costs and sustained inflationary pressures. The company says it will continue to absorb a significant portion of these increased costs, while passing on part of the burden to customers.
The automaker has not yet announced a model-wise breakdown of the revised prices.
Customers planning to purchase a Tata car or SUV could benefit from completing their purchase before the revised prices come into effect on September 1.
The price increase will affect Tata Motors’ entire passenger vehicle portfolio, covering its conventional ICE-powered models as well as its growing range of electric vehicles.

Another price revision is coming for car buyers, and this time Tata Motors is increasing prices across both its ICE and EV portfolios. With the hike capped at ₹25,000, the actual impact will depend on the model and variant. Buyers considering a Tata vehicle may want to check current prices and available offers before September 1.
