Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition Revealed to Mark 50,000 Sales Milestone

Tata Motors has introduced the Sierra Jubilee Edition to celebrate the SUV crossing the 50,000-unit sales milestone. Based on the Smart+, Pure and Adventure variants, the special edition adds a host of accessories and convenience features from Tata’s ROQ catalogue. Prices are yet to be announced.

More Equipment Across the Range

The Sierra Smart+ Jubilee Edition receives several upgrades over the standard model, including:

  • Front grille and tailgate cladding
  • Roof rails
  • Semi-leatherette seat covers with Jubilee branding
  • 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Rear-view camera
  • Four-speaker audio system

The Pure Jubilee Edition builds on this with additional equipment such as:

  • Wheel arch cladding
  • Leatherette steering wheel cover
  • Magnetic sunshades
  • Parcel tray
  • Front and rear dash cameras

Meanwhile, the Adventure Jubilee Edition gets the complete ROQ styling package along with front and rear dash cameras.

No Mechanical Changes

Mechanically, the Sierra Jubilee Edition remains unchanged.

Buyers can continue to choose from three engine options:

  • 1.5-litre turbo-petrol producing 160hp and 255Nm
  • 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol producing 106hp and 145Nm
  • 1.5-litre diesel producing 118hp and up to 280Nm

Transmission choices include manual, automatic, and dual-clutch automatic gearboxes depending on the engine.

Final Take

The Jubilee Edition doesn’t introduce any major changes, but it does add useful features to the lower and mid-spec variants. If Tata keeps the price premium reasonable, it could become the best-value Sierra in the lineup for buyers looking for a little more without stretching to the top-end trims.
