Triumph has introduced the Bonneville T40, T40 Black and T4 in India, bringing the classic Bonneville design to a lower-capacity motorcycle platform. Prices start at ₹2.54 lakh, with bookings opening on October 7.
The three motorcycles use a dedicated version of Triumph’s 350cc TR Series engine while retaining traditional Bonneville styling, including a teardrop tank, round headlamp, spoked wheels, and twin rear shocks.
Bookings open from October 7, 2026 at 4:30 pm. T40 deliveries begin in the second week of November 2026, while T4 deliveries start in the second week of January 2027.
All three motorcycles use Triumph’s liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 350cc TR Series engine, tuned specifically for the Bonneville.
The motorcycles also feature a peashooter-style exhaust designed to retain the traditional Bonneville character.

The T40 and T40 Black get a 4-inch circular TFT display with navigation, smartphone connectivity, music controls, and cruise control. They also feature lean-sensitive cornering ABS and traction control.
The motorcycles have a 790mm seat height, which can be reduced to 770mm with the optional low seat. Ready-to-ride weight is 195kg.
A centre stand and upper engine protection bars are standard, while Triumph will offer accessories including comfort seats and panniers.
