New VX-100 Architecture

The new 100V platform combines the SRB-11 battery, a lighter motor and a redesigned motor control unit. Ultraviolette claims up to 20% greater battery energy density and twice the cooling performance, with an optimised thermal path designed to dissipate heat up to 50% faster.

Battery safety features include a smart battery management system, cell-level fuses and a pyro-fuse designed to isolate the circuit within microseconds when a critical fault is detected.

Radar Technology and Connected Features

The X-47 Venom gets a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, Mappls navigation, cruise control and an integrated front and rear dashcam.

Its UV Hypersense radar system uses a 77GHz rear radar to support:

  • Blind-spot monitoring
  • Lane-change assistance
  • Overtake alerts
  • Rear-collision warnings

Other features include park assist with a rear-camera feed and VIOLETTE AI connectivity, which offers movement, fall and towing alerts, remote lockdown and crash alerts.

Ultraviolette has also introduced the reusable B-MAX rider safety vest, featuring protective elements for the chest, back, sides, hips and neck.

Final Take

The X-47 Venom combines performance figures, fast charging and radar-based rider assistance in a package aimed at making electric motorcycling more capable. Its claimed 343km IDC range and 12kW DC charging are major highlights, while the new platform could underpin future Ultraviolette models.

At ₹2.65 lakh for the first 5,000 buyers, it enters the market with an ambitious technology package. Real-world range, charging access and performance will ultimately determine how well it delivers on those claims.
